My family and I went this summer, July and August 2022, a few times to Noordwijk aan Zee, at the Dutch coast by the North Sea. The seaside reminds me of my youth in Aruba where I would swim in the Caribbean sea and enjoy being at the beach. Being accustomed to white sand and clear blue Caribbean seawater I find it very difficult to take a swim in the North Sea. Nevertheless walking on the beach and taking pictures in Noordwijk aan Zee is very relaxing. Feeling the warm breeze and nothing on my mind but photography and seeing so many photo opportunities is addictive and has a calming effect on me.
